Higgins Museum Seminar 2024
The Higgins Museum of National Bank Notes will host a seminar on July 31 to August 1, 2024.
The event will start with a welcome reception at the museum on the late afternoon of Wednesday, July 31, followed by an invited dinner with the speakers.
The program for Thursday, August 1st will begin at 8:30. The speakers will be:
Joseph Boling, speaking on Nineteenth Century National Bank Note Counterfeits
Jesse Kraft, speaking on Vigilantes of Iowa: Bringing Bank Robberies to a halt in the 1920s and 1930s.
Lee Lofthus, speaking on The Hard Life of National Bank Notes – Train wrecks, robberies, fires and other calamities.
Cody Regennitter, speaking on Chicago Small Size Issuers: a General Overview
Joe Ridder, speaking on Forbidden Titles of National Bank Notes
Cost for the event will be $75 (or $65 if a member of CSNS, INA or the SPMC) for the reception on Wednesday afternoon, a light continental breakfast, light lunch and attendance at the talks.
